The New Horizons for Women Trust is a New Zealand-wide organisation that promotes second-chance education and training for women, and research on issues which affect women. Women who have not obtained a qualification since leaving school and who are enrolled for further study, may apply for a second-chance award.

The closing date for applications is May 31st each year. Women or groups intending to undertake research on women's issues may apply for a research award. The closing date is also May 31st  each year.
