Sandra Tupu, winner of a Tressa Thomas Retraining Award, who is studying for a Bachelor of Art & Design (Fashion) at AUT University displayed her creativity and flair with a presentation of a range of clothing she designed “Urban Traveller” – themed around an aerial view of Hyde Park!
Dr. Fran Marno, last year's winner of a Post Doctoral is an accomplished artist whose portraits of older women breathed character and individuality. Dr. Lucy Patston, this year’s winner of a Post Doctoral Award told us of her doctoral research investigating differences in the left and right brain responses of musicians who had trained since early childhood relative to non-musicians.
Quite inspiring for many of the awardees as well as those of us who have the privilege of selecting award recipients.
